Wochenenden sind auch mal dazu da, sich einfach in etwas Gemütliches zu schmeißen. Genau das habe ich gemacht. Am Sonntag war ich nämlich bei meiner Schwester zum Kekse backen.


Oft hört man ja, dass Frauen mit etwas mehr keine Leggins tragen sollten. In der Öffentlichkeit bin ich da auch noch nicht so weit, aber wenn ich bei meiner Familie, Freunden oder einfach zu Hause bin, gelten andere Regeln. Man muss eben klein anfangen...

Some weeekend are just there to put on something comfortable. And so did I. On sunday my sister and I made some holiday cookies. Some way too often you here, women with a bit "more" shouldn't wear leggins. Bein in public I mostly stick to my normal clothes (without leggins), but being with ma family and friends I dare to put some leggins on. You gotta start somewhere...

Das alljährliche Weihnachtsbacken liebe ich wirklich sehr. Meistens schaffe ich es aber tatsächlich nur ein oder zwei Mal im Jahr. Was eigentlich schade ist, schließlich gibt es doch sooo viele Weihnachtsplätzchen, die man ausprobieren kann. Naja, dann eben nächstes Jahr... Das Keksebacken verändert sich, wenn Kinder in der Familie sind. Der Kleine meiner Schwester ist jetzt drei Jahre und will kräftig mitmachen. Da lernst man die schlichten Butterkekse mit bunten Streuseln erst richtig schätzen. :)

The christmas bakery once a year is something I really love. But in fact I only manage to bake cookies once or maybe twice a year. Too bad - there are so many great recipes I'd like to try. Maybe the next year... Baking cookies changes when there are children in the family. The little one of my sister now is three years old and wants to be right in the middle of baking so badly. How great these simple cookies with just some colorful sprinkles are. :)

Ebenso Tradition ist übrigens das gemeinsame Kränzebinden, was genau so viel Spaß macht. Dieses Mal habe ich ganz tief in den Farbtopf gegriffen. Aber hey - manchmal muss man halt klotzen und nicht kleckern!

It's a tradition too we meet to make some wreaths for the holidays - it's as much fun as the baking stuff. This time I went a little bit bold. But hey - somethings it's all about thinking it big.
